The search revealed numerous items including £2,500 in savings, a bug and secret camera detection device stored in his bedside drawer, a rock bearing a Swastika symbol displayed on a table, and a Black Sun flag associated with neo-Nazi movements hanging on the wall.
Additional seizures included a collection of knives from his bedside drawer and chest of drawers, a small stone axe, an air rifle, and a flyer concerning target shooting activities.
Escalating Hatred and Final Days
Court proceedings revealed that Coleman had been “seething with hatred” when creating a list of workplace individuals who had “upset” him in September 2022. Notably, he singled out a white female colleague who was married to a man of mixed Indian and Seychellois heritage.
His fascination with extremist ideology was evident in his captivation with a book commemorating public hangings of “white race traitors.” In the final week before his arrest, Coleman posted an image of an armed man wearing a balaclava with the caption “Coming soon here my man.” Just two days before his scheduled weapon pickup in Stratford, he wrote: “Just something has gotta be done, how long can we sit here and talk over the internet.”
The comprehensive investigation into his electronic devices uncovered additional plans for potential terrorist attacks, including proposals to hijack an aircraft and target the Lord Mayor of London’s residence. These schemes involved placing explosives in cash machines alongside the deployment of knives and crossbows, as detailed during the court proceedings.
