Child Dies in Dog Attack, Police Confirm
Police confirmed the death of a child after a suspected dog attack in Dormanstown, Redcar. Officers with weapons were called to the scene at approximately 13:30 BST due to concerns about a child’s safety. Meanwhile, the North East Ambulance Service deployed three crews to the location, with one individual taken to the hospital for further care.
“This is a distressing and tragic incident, and our thoughts are with the child’s family,” said Emily Harrison, district commander for Redcar and Cleveland. “I encourage anyone with concerns or information to speak to an officer.”
