Fashion influencer has 150 handbag collection – A fashion influencer has had her entire collection of 150 bags stolen from her London home.

Susanna Lau , known online as Susie Bubble, has over 700,000 followers on Instagram , where she shows off her latest looks and designer wardrobe.

She first rose to fame in 2006 after launching her fashion blog, Style Bubble.

On Wednesday, she posted a video to Instagram in which she revealed that her home had been broken into while she was on a trip to the Maldives.

Ms Lau said: “All of my handbags are gone. 150 bags or so, which sounds like a crazy amount of bags but they were accumulated over a pretty long period of time, the best part of 20 years.

“I went from being the bag lady to being bagless. They cleared me out.”

She became emotional as she reflected on her collection, which she said reminded her of all of the “amazing trips and experiences” she has had.

She added: “'A lot of them were gifts from people I know. It's not just a loss of mere stuff, it's memories.”

The fashion blogger did not go into detail regarding the burglary , saying it was 'still being investigated by the police.

She said it felt like a “huge violation”, and that the ordeal left her feeling terrified in her own home and scared to go outside.

She said: “I haven't wanted to go out either because I get scared. What do I do? Should I just stay here? Should I just stand guard?

“I don't feel comfortable leaving the house [except for] work stuff or if I know someone was gonna be at home, like my partner, that makes me feel a bit better.

“I think losing so much of that stuff all in one go has left me really shaken because it's sort of a testament of my work.”

Ms Lau acknowledged that it was “the epitome of a first world problem”, encouraging her followers to tell her she's “being ridiculous.”

She added: “At the end of the day it is just stuff. It's silly to be attached to what is essentially a few pieces of leather stitched together and some hardware.”

She also admitted that she may have gone overboard with her collection, stating: “Nobody needs that many handbags.”
